After graduating from Sam Houston State University in 2006, I began a career as a Special Ed teacher for the North East Independent School District. While there, I helped my campus successfully integrate a co-teach program, which combined the general classroom population with Special-Ed students. I remember early on, sweeping the dusty floors in new homes and pulling stubborn nails from 2x4 boards. I eventually left the education field and switched gears to devote my time and efforts to growing Japhet Builders. I have spent the last several years developing the company’s marketing, social media, and realtor relations programs. I expanded my real estate expertise by becoming a licensed realtor. My fortitude has helped the business grow over the years to become one of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in the San Antonio area, according to the San Antonio Business Journal’s compiled list for 2018.
